Hall of Fame Tennis Championships - July 5 – 13
Just after Wimbledon each year, top ATP World Tour pros head to Newport to compete in the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, the first stop of the summer swing for pro tennis in the United States.
Enjoy fireworks and a variety of free concerts in Newport parks.

Newport Kite Festival - July 12 & 13
The Newport Kite Festival is held on the Southern tip of Newport, at “Brenton Point State Park”. The offers a spectacular commanding wide-open view, with the Atlantic to the South and the Mouth of Narragansett Bay to the West. Nearly surrounded by water, the grass fields of “the point” as the locals call it, has grown to be a friendly, well known premier spot to fly kites.

Newport Folk Festival - July 25 – 27
The festival is held at Fort Adams and features 4 stages of music, food & crafts, and a number of displays. The Newport Folk Festival preserves the legacy of the Folk Festival and continues the traditions of music education and collaboration for years to come.

35th Annual Classic Yacht Regatta - August 30 & 31

44th Annual Newport International Boat Show - September 11 – 14
One of the largest in-water boat shows in the country and the premier show in the northeast! This prestigious event encompasses 13 acres of Newport’s famed waterfront with all makes and models of powerboats and sailboats ranging from 16 ft. to 85 ft. ready for boarding and review.
9th Annual Newport Mansions’ Wine & Food Festival - September 19 – 21
Two days of wine tastings, chef appearances, cooking demonstrations and much more at the Newport Mansions. Held in one of the most spectacular settings in America, this is a remarkable weekend experience not to be missed!
